The Engineering Center of Voronezh State University of Forestry and Technologies named after G.F. Morozov hosted the autumn series of the intellectual game "What? Where? When?", dedicated to the university's 95th anniversary. The event brought together the most knowledgeable students from all faculties.
Vladimir Mikhailovich Bugakov, Advisor to the Rector's Office of VSUFT, opened the game, emphasizing the importance of intellectual development within the university. "This game is a true celebration of intellect and team spirit, which is especially symbolic in the year of our anniversary", - he noted.
A special atmosphere was created by the "Magisters" — the winners of the spring series of games, who took pride of place in the hall. Alyona Kodatskaya from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was recognized as the best player of the previous season.
A team of VSUFT experts and a team of university guests met at the gaming table. The experts included 12 students from different faculties: Forestry, Timber Industry, Automobile, Economic, Mechanical Engineering and FCSaT.
The game consisted of two rounds of seven questions each. The participants demonstrated erudition, logical thinking and the ability to work in a team. In difficult situations, experts could ask for help from the "Masters" — experienced players from previous seasons.
The event was a highlight of the 95th anniversary of VSUFT celebration programme and confirmed the high intellectual potential of the university's students.
