VSUFT lecturer conducted a course on landscape design at the All-Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok"

Sabina Skolzneva, a lecturer of the Department of Landscape Architecture and Soil Science of VSUFT, conducted an educational course entitled "Landscape Design Workshop: Orlyonok of the Future" for participants in the thematic shift of school forestries at the All-Russian Children's Center "Orlyonok". The programme was designed for career guidance and popularization of professions in the field of landscape design and architecture.

The schoolchildren studied the basics of landscape architecture, dendrology, principles of working with space and selection of plants, and completed a full design cycle - from territory analysis to concept development and project visualization.

At the end of the training, an exhibition of students' works was held, and the best projects were collected in an electronic album. Four teams under the leadership of Sabina Skolzneva successfully defended their works within the framework of the International Children's and Youth Prize of Rosprirodnadzor "Ecology is Everyone's Business", which was held on the territory of the camp.
