Family values in a game format: how did first-year students of VSUFT learn to have a dialogue with their loved ones

15 December 2025

A training course on family values for first-year students was held at VSUFT. Classes were held in the 10th building on Rostovskaya Street as part of the psychology week.

Students used a game-based approach to learning how to build dialogue with parents and loved ones. They played the roles of parents and children to understand their motives and find solutions to difficult situations.

Psychologist Igor Mikhailovich Sidelnikov, who led the sessions, noted that understanding the uniqueness of each family and flexibility in communication are key skills that will help young people both in their studies and in life.

Such trainings are part of the university's systematic efforts to support student adaptation and personal development.
