Mentoring School of VSUFT sums up the results of its work for the academic year

The Mentoring School of VSUFT began last year at the Economic Faculty, this year the Mentoring School has grown, uniting 69 young lecturers from all faculties. The year was very eventful. Students had the opportunity to attend interesting classes on the educational, educational-methodical, scientific, educational, and career guidance work of lecturers.

Individual consultations were held to prepare for open classes, and assistance was provided in writing methodological instructions. A new practice was also introduced for young lecturers to attend classes of leading professors of our university.

Following the School's work, the students received detailed information on preparing and conducting lectures, practical and seminar classes, working with educational and methodological literature. The scientific aspects of the activities of young lecturers, issues of ethical behavior of lecturers in relation to students, creating a favorable emotional climate in groups, resolving conflict situations, psychological aspects of relationships between young lecturers and students, building effective interaction with the management and students of sponsored schools, etc. were also considered.

According to the School's curator Irina Proskurina, the students demonstrate a sincere desire to improve their professional level, high activity, curiosity and genuine interest in the issues discussed in the classroom.

The School expresses special gratitude to the University's management for their active participation in the work, as well as their high interest in developing the professional skills and abilities of young specialists for their successful adaptation in the conditions of modern education.
