The latest agricultural machinery for the 95th anniversary of the University were presented at VSUFT

As part of the 95th anniversary celebrations of Voronezh State University of Forestry and Technologies named after G.F. Morozov, a specialized exhibition of agricultural machinery was held. The event showcased promising developments created by FSBSI "All-Russian Research Institute of Sugar Beet and Sugar named after A.L. Mazlumov" with the participation of the "SMART FOREST" design bureau of the Engineering Center of VSUFT.

Among the exhibits is the innovative VPSh-5S transplanter for planting breeding stock. Its lightweight design allows for efficient use in greenhouse conditions, and a special planting mechanism ensures precise planting with a spacing of 35-40 cm.

The VPSh-4P semi-automated planting machine, designed for seedlings of various sizes, attracted particular interest from specialists. The model has already successfully completed production trials and is ready for mass production.

Specialized segment mowers with a working width of 2.8 meters were developed for harvesting seed crops. These right- and left-hand models have demonstrated high efficiency in farms in the North Caucasus, Kuban, and Crimea, ensuring minimal seed loss during harvesting.

"The presented developments address current import substitution challenges in the field of specialized agricultural machinery, - noted the exhibition organizers. - Work in this area continues, including improving planting methods and shaping the habit of seed plants".

The exhibition demonstrated the university's successful collaboration with research institutes and confirmed the status of VSUFT as a leading developer of innovative solutions for the agro-industrial complex.
