The youth forum "Cyber Patriot", dedicated to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, was held at VSUFT named after G.F. Morozov.
The coordinator of the Regional Public Organization "Fatherland" Evgeny Nikolaevich Chibisov opened the forum. He read out a welcome letter from Maksut Igorevich Shadaev, Minister of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation:
"The main purpose of this event is not only to introduce young people to digital security technologies and tools, but above all to raise awareness of the real and urgent threats to information security that users face every day. In the context of the rapid digitalization of society, understanding the basic principles of cyber hygiene is becoming an essential element of digital culture".
Mikhail Valentinovich Drapalyuk, Rector of VSUFT, emphasized in his speech: "I am convinced that the topic of cybersecurity is one of the most relevant for the Russian Federation. When new opportunities come, new challenges come. Today, the organizers of the forum aim to talk to our youth about how to mitigate these threats".
Natalya Ilyinichna Zyryanova, Chief Specialist for Youth Affairs at the Department of Education and Youth Policy of the Voronezh City District Administration, noted:
"When information about safety comes from young people themselves, it's very valuable. The knowledge gained at the forum should be shared with your loved ones".
The programme of the event
After the official opening, expert presentations were held:
Priest Oleg Korablin, Chairman of the Youth Department of the Voronezh Diocese, made a presentation "God is not out of a car. Artificial Intelligence and religion"; Andrey Sergeevich Zhilin, Deputy Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Voronezh, and Evgeny Yuryevich Chernikov, Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the city of Voronezh, presented a report on the topic "Prevention of remote fraud committed using information and telecommunication technologies"; Kartashov Igor Igorevich, Associate Professor of the Department of Law and Humanities of Admiral Makarov State University of Maritime and Inland Shipping, presented the topic "Critical thinking as a tool for shaping responsible citizenship of students".
The forum has become an important platform for dialogue between students and experts in the field of digital security, artificial intelligence and modern technologies.
