VSUFT joined the Consortium of Universities of the Central Federal District for the Development of Technological Entrepreneurship

VSUFT named after G.F. Morozov became a full member of the Consortium of Universities of the Central Federal District for the Development of Technological Entrepreneurship. The cooperation agreement was signed by VSUFT Rector Mikhail Valentinovich Drapalyuk on December 8 at a strategic session at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.

Participation in the consortium opens up new opportunities for the university to develop an innovative ecosystem. The association of more than 60 leading universities of the Central Federal District creates a platform for the exchange of experience, the launch of online educational programmes and the formation of interuniversity technology teams.

"This is a strategically important partnership for VSUFT, which will allow our students and researchers to take their developments to the next level", - noted Rector Mikhail Drapaluk. - We gain access to a unified system of support for technological entrepreneurship -from mentoring to promoting projects to industrial sites".

The Consortium is intended to become a center of attraction for talents, where university science meets the needs of the real sector of the economy. The main task of the association is to ensure the practical implementation of student and research developments in production.

The active phase of cooperation will begin in 2026, including the launch of network educational programmes, the formation of inter-university project teams, and the development of new formats for interaction with industrial enterprises. Participation in the Consortium is consistent with VSUFT's development strategy as an innovative and educational center focused on training specialists capable of creating and implementing modern technologies in the forestry industry and related sectors.
