Graduates of secondary vocational education of VSUFT demonstrate their skills in gardening at the nursery examination

Graduates of secondary vocational education of VSUFT in the training profile 35.02.12 "Gardening and landscape construction" take a demonstration exam at the Nursery Complex of VSUFT.

Demonstration exam has two modules: technical and organisational support for the production of works of one type on the territories of the object and organisation of works on the cultivation of woody shrubs and floral and decorative plants.

Olga Mikhailovna Snegireva, an expert of the demonstration exam, a teacher of the Voronezh State Industrial and Technological College, told about the exam process: "Students enter the site in their working uniforms, overalls. Each student has an individual seat. At their workplace they have a computer to draw up two projects, and there are also calculations - sowing seeds, fertilisers. They do the calculations manually, for this they have a calculator. The practical part includes transplanting plants from a small pot to a large pot, transplanting a shrub with a closed root system and cuttings of indoor plants. The students are given 3.5 hours with a break of 15 minutes to complete all the tasks".

Olga Mikhailovna noted that graduates of secondary vocational education of VSUFT manage to do all the tasks in the allotted time without giving in to emotions and excitement.
